Can I truly redesign my life?

Updated: Sep 9, 2022

Now that I have rebranded to Life Redesigned, It's time to talk about why I chose this name and how I got to the point of being able to truly redesign my life.

Life Redesigned

Two years ago, I was in a position where I needed to make a choice. I needed to make a choice on whether I was going to stand up, fight and continue on or if I was going to allow "them" to win, conquer me, force me to give up. It took everything I had to take one step at a time and move forward. Slowly and intentionally, I did. I took really small steps, some days only one step, and moved my life in the direction I desired. People tell you that you "just gotta believe". Let me tell you something.....that is SO HARD when you are in the trenches. You are gutting through life trying to make It and having a vision and creating a positive vision board is often the last thing on your mind. You don't get "there" overnight. In fact, I don't know if you ever get "there". Sometimes It seems like a whirlwind of how I got to the other side of the mountain, but I did get there, one step at a time. My journey was two years of so much pain, so many tears, a lot of forgiveness, and more grieving than I have ever done In my life. This journey of redesigning my life fell into my lap. I closed a chapter and a new one opened. I am slowly sharing my story and still in the middle of challenging my mind and my emotions to continue to strengthen and be redesigned. Friends, if I can do It. You can do It. Cliche - right? I promise you, you can. Borrow my confidence until you have your own. Allow me to journey with you based on my own experience, not just what studies show you should do. This can happen for you. You don't have to allow your past to define who you are. You are forgiven and can start anew. You are cleansed and can start fresh. No ONE is allowed to steal your power and no SITUATION will hold you back. One day, I woke up and I decided It was time. Your time is now. Grow through what you go through and be thankful for the mud, dirt, ugliness, grief and hardship because I can tell you from experience, the other side is the most beautiful place you will ever see.
